Jazzmen Rice
For a while I was doing a lot of photography for Jazzmen Rice, a local rice company packaging and selling a LSU developed rice variety called jazzmen rice. These were fun gigs that put me touch with a lot of great chefs in our culinary town (clearly I photographed Anthony Spizale on many of these outings) as well as the chance to go to the LSU AgCenter in Crowley where the rice was developed and grown to learn more about the process of rice harvesting. Fun Fact: Louisiana is the third highest producer of rice in the U.S. and it’s our fifth largest agricultural commodity
