food photography

Who doesn't love to watch Food Network and drool over images of delicious meals from around the world?  Thankfully, through my longtime client, Jazzmen Rice, I've had the pleasure of meeting lots of local chefs who've allowed me to photograph them and their edible artwork.

I enjoy listening to people tell their stories and helping writers tell theirs.  Working in photojournalism gives me another opportunity to meet interesting people I would otherwise never have had the opportunity to meet.

Tulane Marching Band

I have the pleasure of being Tulane Marching Band's official photographer thanks to the previous occupant of this position, my good friend and fellow photographer Zack Smith, making the introduction.  It never feels like work as I get to hang out with talented college students who bring the most enthusiasm to every home game, concert and Mardi Gras parade.

M.U.G.A.B.E.E. - Music Video

My friends Carlton and Maurice Turner of M.U.G.A.B.E.E. wrote a song about the 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and asked me and my artistic compadres at Mondo Bizarro to shoot a video for it.  We only had one day to do it, but I think the effort paid off.  The song alone is worth a listen.

Mosaic - Infomercial

This is a short infomercial for a water purification company and their new drink dispenser.

Elm Theater - Commercial

When I showed up and was told what the play was about and what the concept Garrett Prejean and Chris Marroy cooked up, I just laughed.  Hopefully you will too.  Warning: Potentially NSFW.

Hinds Behavioral Health Services - Commercial

This is a :30 commercial for a mental health service in MS.
