Firefighters in City Park
Firefighters are awesome. I’ve never heard a complaint made against a fire department the way we hear complaints against police departments. They show up, put their lives at risk, save others and are woefully underpaid for it. While going back to my own car in City Park I saw this car smoking and burning a few aisles away from mine. Sure enough, firefighters came on the scene and handled business. Next time you see them on the street holding their boots and hats asking for money, give ‘em all you got.
